Kacee has been an Allentown native her entire life. In 2009 she graduated from Lehigh Carbon Community College with a degree in Veterinary Medical Nursing and was also the class president of the student chapter of NAVTA. In 2022 she completed her certificate in Veterinary Practice Management. She has worked in all aspects of the veterinary industry but enjoys small animal medicine the best! She lives nearby with her husband, two young children, and dogs Moose and Ruger. In her free time, she enjoys vegetable gardening and fishing at the family cabin.

Kacee Cope, CVT, Hospital Administrator

Elisa Rogers, CVT, VTS (ECC), Director of Nursing
Elisa was born and raised in Hellertown, Pa. She graduated from the Veterinary Nursing Program at Harcum College in 1995, and moved to the Philadelphia area to begin her veterinary nursing career at the MJR Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. After two decades at MJR-VHUP, she moved to another specialty hospital in the Philadelphia region but was eager to return to her roots and live closer to her family. She joined EPVMC in 2022.
Elisa received her Veterinary Technician Specialty in Emergency and Critical Care (VTS (ECC)) in 2001 and remained active within the Academy of Veterinary Technicians & Nurses (AVECCTN). She served on the board from 2002-2012 in various roles, including the president of the academy as well as serving on several committees within the academy.
She is happy to be back living in her hometown with her husband and rescue dog! In the winter months, you will find her in the great outdoors skiing every chance she gets.

Beth Dyer, Front Desk Supervisor
Beth Dyer was born in Barbourville, Kentucky and raised by her grandparents who were dairy farmers. She attended University of Maryland for general studies in the 1990’s. In 2011 her family moved to Pennsylvania from northern Utah and bought a farm in Lehigh County, where she has horses, goats, dogs and cats. With a passion for large animals, she worked as an Equine Technician for several years. Later she found herself transitioned to small animal medicine and worked as a technician before coming to Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center.

Meghan Straub, BS, CVT, Emergency Nursing Supervisor
Meghan was born and raised in the Poconos. In 2013 she graduated from Mercy College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Technology. She has been working in emergency medicine and critical care for over 10 years. While Meghan enjoys all aspects of ECC, she has a special interest in acute illness and trauma. Meghan resides northeast of EPVMC with her fiancé, German Shepherd named Jax, and 2 cats (Little Grey and Puff). When she’s not working, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and traveling to the National Parks.
